At the bottom of a broker’s website, you should always find information on where the forex broker is regulated, & their license number.
Let us take a practical example of the broker HF Markets who state on their website that they are regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) United Kingdom & have reference number 801701.
To verify their claim, we simply visit the FCA website at https://register.fca.org.uk/s/ input their reference number or name, then use the search function to get their details.
